Food safety means the cleanliness and being totally free of the factors that cause diseases of a foodstuff. In other words, food should not sicken the consumer. Food in some cases may be harmful to health. They may be contaminated with microbes in the environment and consuming such foodstuff may cause diseases. The food safety is guaranteed and documented in conformity with HACCP Food Safety Management System.
